We are incredibly thankful for CCVS. Both their Cardiology and Internal Medicine teams, with Dr. Quinn and Dr. Carvalho, provided exceptional care to our Bella for many years. We always knew that she was receiving the highest and best standard of treatment, right up to her final day. We also want to thank Dr. Kline for her immense compassion and empathy on Bella's last day with us, and to Robyn for giving us the space and time we needed with Bella as we were trying to comprehend the loss of our little girl. We are grateful to all of you. Every member of the CCVS team is truly outstanding, and we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for everything they did for Bella.

I’m not much of a person that writes reviews but I just want to share and express my gratitude and appreciation. Our 14 year old bulldog whom we were under the impression was so far in good health was not acting herself (excessive panting) Not knowing what to do we called our family members whom used to go to Cape Cod Vet Specialist for there dog and said let’s bring her there. Before we walk out the door our baby crossed the rainbow bridge. The second we walk through the doors of Cape Cod Specialists we were given such amazing professionalism and true empathy for what we were experiencing. Costs were not shoved into our face unlike the previous vets whom we called who would not see her until an Initial payment was made. The techs treated us so kindly and let us decide if we would like to deal with that at the end of our visit. I look forward to when our hearts are ready to take on a new fur baby because I know exactly who I will be going to from now on❤️

Brilliant staff. All staff are gentle and in sync with families that are taking in animals that need emergency health care. The staff share calmly with the family about the patient.
They also help with care credit if the family does not have finances immediately to pay for Vet Services.
There is an unmatched decency and respect from the staff directly back to the family regarding the animal that is having the Emergency.
A soft and quiet realization that is shared  to the family Re; the care plan for the animal in crisis.
This Veterinary service truly  creates a safe place for animals and their parents to receive proper help.
They make everything comfortable and  kind for the family to support and trust the medical services needed for their loved animal to get better.
Truly a Beautiful place for animals to receive beyond adequate support.

We are so grateful to the vet and all staff at Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists for the very professional and compassionate service they provided last week when we brought in our beloved French bulldog, who was having a medical emergency. The veterinarian assessed him and explained our dog’s condition very clearly, including all possible causes and treatments. Once it was determined that the dog had a large, inoperable tumor around his heart, our options were clear. It’s hard to describe saying goodbye to your much loved pet as beautiful, but the veterinarian and staff made it so. We were able to be with our dog, watch him eat an amazing last meal of lasagna and sweet treats, then say goodbye. It was my first experience with losing a pet and I can’t imagine it being in a more compassionate environment. I received his remains, beautifully and respectfully packaged, two days ago, personally delivered by the postal manager with condolences. Today I received a lovely condolence card from Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists, signed by the staff. I am so grateful for the thoughtfulness and care this group provided. It has made our loss just a little less painful.

I don’t typically write reviews, but what we experienced during the month of November and December of 2025 was absolutely disgusting. I brought my 5 year old pit mix into emergency for labored breathing on thanksgiving night as he was anemic and had an enlarged spleen at his normal vet 2 days prior to that. The front desk staff and admitting doctor was fantastic! We had to keep our dog there for 3 days as he had a high fever and even more anemic. We had to put down a $7,000+ deposit (no problem money is no issue), but during my dogs stay, he had a needle aspirate done to check for lymphoma and when I called for an update, a TECHNICIAN said “yeah we saw lymphoma, so he’s on steroids to treat it for now” I asked to speak to a doctor and none were available. I spoke to the doctor that following morning and he indeed did not have lymphoma, so that was a lie.. that was a very traumatic night for us. My dog was released and was doing great on the prednisone until December 28th, he was gasping for air and we brought him back in ($900) for the doctor to say “oh that’s normal on the prednisone” meanwhile he was showing levels of improvement on steroids with anemia and he was anemic again and I was brushed off with “oh that’s fine, he’s not critical” well… my dog passed away the next day. I tried to reach out to the facility to make things right, but have sense been ignored is why I’m making this post.. I UNDERSTAND vets are understaffed and overwhelmed and I’m super understanding, but this is pure negligence on there part. Dr Toleson & Dr karfunkel were both incredible!
